shell games

Summer is too short to dine indoors, so grab the gals and head to Nu, where the whole front of the restaurant opens up into False Creek, with views of buff scullers and yachtsmen a–plenty.

The new "Hi–Res, Lo–Imprint" sustainable seafood initiative means you'll dine on sweet Pacific scallops that come from nearby waters, rather than flown in from far off.

We loved the sashimi–style scallop on the half–shell with pickled ginger and julienned radish, paired with Poplar Grove Pinot Gris.

Now that's how we like to lower our carbon footprint.
