10 Things We Love About Agent Provocateur

Canada's first Agent Provocateur store opened this week and, well, we were tickled pink. Here's ten things we loved.

1. The amazing 3D black lacquer forest upstairs—a first for any AP store world–wide.

2. A custom–made fuschia–on–pink floral carpet and matching silk chairs.

3. Fine fishnet “hold–ups” and stockings made to 1940s specs with back seams and reinforced heels.

4. Walls and drawers made entirely of laser–cut mirrors with intricate filigreed patterns.

5. A pair of birdcages large enough to hold lingerie models for special living window displays.

6. The gorgeous antique four–poster bed on the upper level.

7. The fantastic young staff in pale pink uniforms who are as cheerful and helpful as can be.

8. Styles like “Francoise” named for shop girls around the world (we're holding out for Vancouver's Gretchen to get a collection).

9. The Gangster.

10. The change room mirrors that add three inches to your legs and subtract three from your hips. Oh to live in a house of mirrors.
