Moleskine notebooks are like the Eames office chair of the design community—a silent signal you're a confirmed aesthete who watches Goddard films swathed in a Marimekko throw and Japanese felt slippers every night.
But if you've mistakenly grabbed another's black Moleskine agenda after a design meeting (and ended up at the same restaurant and Contemporary Art Gallery show anyway) maybe it's time to show your colours.
We're sold on the new Moleskine Volants, thinner ruled notebooks that come in pairs of complimentary colours, like peone pink and raspberry, or robin's egg and navy blue.
But if you start referring to them by their Pantone number, sorry we just can't help you any more.
