Fa la la la
Romantic nights in front of the fire call for romantic tunes—and Rudolph just doesn't cut it come December 26.
So we've fallen for angel-voiced French chanteuse Béatrice Martin, the 19-year-old Quebecoise whose pretty melodies and throaty voice on her Coeur de Pirate (Pirate's Heart) album had us from "Bonjour."
She's played the piano since age three, and her French chanson style (think Edith Piaf meets Vanessa Paradis) is just what we need to sing us into the New Year (and deliver us from Celine Dion).
Coeur de Pirate is $16.99 at HMV.
