To everything, churn, churn, churn. There is a season, churn, churn, churn. And it’s the season for ice cream.

Fast food soft serve may be the quickest fix, but there’s nothing like making your own, so scoop up a Cuisinart ice cream maker. Made of stainless steel, it’ll make a hefty two quarts of the cold stuff in 25 minutes (sorbets take 10-15). You will need to pre-chill the bucket overnight, but it’s worth it for turning blueberry season into homemade blueberry and lemon sorbet.

It’s the next best thing to having air-con.
