Cloak and Swagger
In Les Miserables, the character Laigle considers an old coat the same as an old friend. If that's true, in Bridget Bergman's collection we've found a new bestie.
The Calgarian now living in Vancouver designs wool coats that cut a mean silhouette, certainly fit for a modern-day Marlene Dietrich. We love the dramatic Ruff ($450, pictured) with its wide ruffle collar, and the romantic Frontier ($575) with its capelet detail and knee-grazing length. And naturally, the collection also includes two waterproof raincoats with buckets more style than our usual Gore-Tex go-to.
Rain, snow, sleet and hail, our new friend has us covered.
