Making a Spectacle

Squinting to read Blindness makes you more empathetic to its characters, but the raging headache really isn’t worth it.

Far-sighted friends, forgo the dull drugstore reading glasses and opt for a pair of edgy Eyebobs. “For the irreverent and slightly jaded,” (their words, not ours), styles are cheekily named—“Kent C. Strait” and “Half Wit” are a couple—and shapes range from Sigmund Freud spherical to Malcolm X browline.

There’ll be no more blind reading The Blind Assassin either.

Full collection at www.eyebobs.com or select styles available at Urban Tea Merchant, 1070 W. Georgia St., Vancouver, 604-692-0071.
