APRIL 26TH, 2011
Kate
Middleton may bump one of these sartorially advanced royals off the
list when she marries Prince William on April 29, but for now, they
rule our fashion world.
Princess Caroline (Monaco and Hannover)
Her
sister Stéphanie may have been Karl Lagerfeld’s muse, but Caroline’s
classic style reminds us more of her late mother, Grace Kelly. Plus,
she belongs to not one, but two royal families.
Princess Charlotte Casiraghi (Monaco)
Caroline’s
daughter also takes after her grandmother Grace Kelly but she looks
equally great in a pair of jeans as she does in Chanel couture. At the
age of 24, she has already landed on Vanity Fair’s “Best Dressed” list.
Princess Zara Phillips (United Kingdom)
This
gorgeous, blonde, statuesque cousin of William and Harry is the epitome
of a modern English Rose. She is a tomboy and an accomplished
equestrian with her own equestrian clothing line. We can’t wait to see
what she wears on April 29. Fingers crossed for a fabulous hat!
Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana (Thailand)
Always
front row at Paris Fashion Week, this royal actually studies fashion
and textile design in university so she knows a thing or two. She is
also an award-winning badminton champion, and that makes us love her
even more.
Queen Rania (Jordan)
This
passionate philanthropist is possibly the most elegant woman in the
world and exactly what a modern queen should look like. Whether she is
dressed down in blazer and slacks or donning a haute couture gown, the
Queen is always picture perfect.
Oh, to be a princess! –AG
